Group Piano Lessons
-Group piano classes for 4 year olds: 40-minutes once per week
-Group piano classes for 5 year olds:

-Supplemental group piano duo or trio classes available for students taking regular weekly private lessons. These classes focus only on duet or trio piano repertoire.
Private Piano Lessons
-Beginners through advanced levels, ages five through adult, 30, 45, or 60 minute lessons once per week.
-Piano lessons encourage creativity, improve reading comprehension and math skills, improve rhythm and coordination, expand cultural knowledge, reduce stress and anxiety, and strengthen hand-eye coordination.
Meet the Teacher
Ms. Garcia brings her love for teaching music and working with children and adults to Modesto and Sonora.
Kerry Garcia, MA, MT-BC, is a piano teacher and board-certified music therapist. Before relocating to sunny California, Ms. Garcia taught all piano students at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School in Jackson, Wisconsin, and at St. Peter Catholic School in Slinger, Wisconsin. She taught piano and early childhood music at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, and also served on the music therapy faculty. Through the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Ms. Garcia worked with oncology patients at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and was also privileged to work with children and adults with developmental and physical disabilities. Ms. Garcia is a church musician and collaborative pianist for soloists and ensembles. Ms. Garcia earned her Bachelor of Music degree from Alverno College, and Master of the Arts from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.

-Middle school beginning piano ensemble classes. These classes are a supplement to regular individual lessons, and focus solely on ensemble/group piano repertoire.

One on One Piano Instruction
Individual piano lessons, ages 5 through older adult, are tailored to each individual student. Ms. Garcia instructs neurotypical students as well as students with varying neurodiverse abilities who may need adaptive or non-traditional lessons. All are welcome!
